Colleagues from the College of Engineering’s Research Impact and Outreach team joined us on August 12, 2025, to explore the unique challenges and opportunities of creative storytelling in academic research. They shared how their science-driven creative marketing team supports engineering researchers in translating their work into engaging, accessible narratives through design, branding, and strategy. They also discussed the challenges of working in a research environment and how to strike a balance between scientific accuracy and compelling design and storytelling.
